Global Institute is a dynamic vocational college located in Sydney’s CBD, Australia. Their fully-accredited, specialized courses in Leadership and Management, Commercial Cookery, Food and Beverage and Hospitality Management will benefit those whose career aim is to excel in the dynamic and fast paced Hospitality industry and Business communities.

Global Institute is a Registered Training Organization and meets administrative, delivery, staffing, facility, marketing, financial, quality. It is accredited by ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority).

What are the programmes you offer after O Levels?

  •  Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery – This qualification reflects the role of commercial cooks who have a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen. After achieving the Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, students may undertake further study to SIT50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management or other Diploma Level.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management – This qualification reflects the role of highly skilled senior operators who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with managerial skills and sound knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations.

What is the minimum requirement to enroll?

 Over 18 years of Age

  • Passed GCE O/L examination in any scheme or any other qualification of comparable standing recognized by the UGC of Sri Lanka such as Edexcel/Cambridge

How do I apply?

After I submit my application online, what happens next?

One of our student enrolment counselors will contact you and guide you through the registration process.

What are the payment options available?

Payment can be done via bank transfer. All payment plans will be communicated via the Offer Letter.

Do you’ll offer internship or work placement opportunities in Sri Lanka and Australia?

All programmes have an integrated internship/work placement during the course of your study. The work placement will help you to apply what you have learnt in the classroom in a work setting and continue your learning in a practical context.

How do we transfer to Global Institute to complete the programme if required?

You can complete the first six (6) months of the programme here in Sri Lanka and then onto Global Institute in Sydney Australia for the following year.

Can we opt to do the entire programme in Australia?

Yes, you can complete the entire course in Australia. Enrollment and VISA process can be handled by us for your convenience.

Note – The cost of the programme will be higher if you are to do the complete course in Australia as you need to take into account other costs like accommodation, food etc.

Are there options to transfer to a different programme at any stage if I feel I do not want to pursue degree in the same field?

Yes, you will be able to transfer to a different programme offered by partnered universities.

Will accommodation facilities be provided when we move to Australia for the final year of the programme?

Yes, we will give you options that are available for accommodation. You will have to bear the cost of accommodation.

What is the platform used to conduct the online classes?

Classes will be conducted in a live environment via zoom.

How do we access the resources?

All of this can be accessed via the student portal.

Once you confirm enrollment and payment is made, we will share with you the Login details to the student portal where you can access the following and more.
